OK now let's start our job.
I suggest you start from Rohald Dahl. It may seem kiddish but do start with him.
1. Matilda
2. Charlie and the chocolate factory.
After this go for Lewis Carroll,
Alice in wonderland.
It may seem crazy. But you'll be astound at what all things have been hidden in these books.
After this if you're very interested in fiction, go for Harry Potter.
And how can I forget Sherlock Holmes!
And there's one you have to read. Animal Farm by George Orwell.
If you're interested in Indian authors. I'll suggest Anuja Chauhan, she's a critically acclaimed writer and she has quite different plots than the rest of Indian authors.
If you're interested in physics then go for
The theory of nearly everything.
Brief history if time.
The first three minutes.
An introduction to black holes, Information and String theory Revolution: The holographic Universe.
And if you're interested in Indian mythology go for
Adiparva - Amruta PatilDevdutta Patnaik - Sita/ Jaya.That's all for now. Try classics after these.
You'll find them easily I won't list them :)

In the fantasy genre, there are many books that are really good. I’m guessing you would have already read the famkus ones like HP. So I am going to suggest a very different series. It’s called “The Mortal Instruments”. It all about magic, shadowhunters, warlocks, etc. with a lit plot. There are 6 books in total. So be sure check em out.
