Direct speech: the speech of a first person who are talking directly to second person

Eg: Sitar said "Iam playing outside"

Indirect speech: the speech said by the second person to the third person which is said by first one

Eg: Sita said to Rita that she was playing outside

NOTE: -no inverted marks in indirect speech

-"that" must be added in the indirect speech

-indirect speech should be in past tense
