ANSWER:

35 Ω

EXPLANATION:

We have formulae to find resistance in || connection or series connection.

For series connection:

\Large\framebox{\boxed{\sf{R_{S}=R_1+R_2+R_3}}}

For parellel connect:

\Large\framebox{\boxed{\sf{\dfrac{1}{R_{p}}=\dfrac{1}{R_1}+\dfrac{1}{R_2}+\dfrac{1}{R_3}}}}

Here we can see that 6Ω and 4Ω resistors are in || connection.

So let's apply formula:

\sf{ \dfrac{1}{R_p}=\dfrac{1}{R_1}+\dfrac{1}{R_2}}

\sf{\dfrac{1}{R_p}=\dfrac{1}{4\Omega}+\dfrac{1}{6\Omega}}

\sf{\dfrac{1}{R_p}=\dfrac{6+4}{24\Omega}}

\sf{\dfrac{1}{R_p}=\dfrac{10}{24\Omega}}

\sf{R_p=\dfrac{24\Omega}{10}}

\sf{R_p=2.4\Omega}

Now this combination of resistors Rp and  21.6 Ω resistor and also 11 Ω resistors are in series combination.

So let's apply formula for series combination of resistors.

\sf{R_s=R_p+R_1+R_2}

\sf{R_s=2.4\Omega+21.6\Omega+11\Omega}

\sf{R_s=35\Omega}

Hence the total effective resistance in circuit is 35Ω.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

What is resistance?

→ The ability of a conductor by which it opposes the flow of current is called resistance.

It's S.I. unit is Ω(Ohm).

Ohm's Law:-

According to ohm's law, the potential difference across two terminals  is directly proportional to the current flowing through the conductor.

=>  V∝I

After we remove sign of proportionality we have to apply constant value.

=>  V=IR

Please note that here R refers to resistance and it is a constant value.
