equation= -(x+y)+(x-y)

x = -28
y = -51

putting these values in equation

-[(-28)+(-51)]+[(-28)-(-51)]
-(-79)+23
= 102

we can do it in another way also

equation= -(x+y)+(x-y)
= -x+y+x-y
= y+y
= 2y
= 2×(-51)
= -102

hope this helps you

Hello Dear!

Thank you for the question and hope my answer would help you :)

Given,

x = -28 and y = -51

Now,

- (x + y) + (x - y)

- (- 28 - 51) + (- 28 + 51) . . . . . . . . . . . [ As when two substraction signs are multiplied, we get addition sign)

- (-79) + (23) . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ As (-) * (-) = (+) ]

+ 79 + 23

After performing simple addition,

102
