What is a network:
A computer is a group of computers connected over a network where maqny protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, and many more are used. The connections can be in the form of wired , wireless and many other forms. A computer network increases the capability of a computer.
Types of computer network:
- LAN (Local area network): Local area network is used in small places such as homes, school computer science labs , offices and many more. Lan's can be either connected in a wired form or wireless form. A Lan can have good speeds upto 100mbps if conneceted over ethernet or they might have low speeds if a lot of devices are connected in that particular LAN.
- MAN (Metropolitan area network): Metropolitan area network is a huge network and it can be said as collection of some LAN networks. It can give internet to a whole size of a city. Many lans are connected in this network with the help of telephone wires which we see all around us.
- WAN (wide area network): It is more larger than the MAN network and might serve up the whole country. Wan is also a interconnection of the metropolitan area networks and an example is the jio or airtel 4g or 3g service. In india jio Network has the the most 4g coverage around 98%
