when food packet is releaed from plane its velocity is horizontal and is equal to velocity of plane..u = 600km/h
its vertical velocity is zero..
it is a case of horizontal projectile from height...
h = 2 km = 2000 m
t = root 2h/g
root 2×2000/10 = root 400
= 20 sec = 20/3600 hour
1/180 hour
now horizontal range = u×t
600×1/180
10/3 km ans

u should be beware of doing mistake.....kisi v formula ko apply krte time..one thinn u should check that every physical units are in SI unit...
agar aapne km to m me change ni kiya hoga..to time root me aa rha hoga..oe time ka dimension check kro wo v galat hai...
