Answer: In an isosceles triangle, 2 vertical angles are equal.
So, let the base angle = x degrees
And the vertical angles= x+18 degrees
Now by using angle sum property,
x+ x+18+x+18 = 180 degree (We have written x+18 two times bcoz they are two same angles)
3x +36 degree = 180 degree
3x= 180-36 degree (Shifting 36 to right side)
3x= 144
x= 144/3 (Shifting 3 to right side)
x= 48
Base angle= x=48 degrees
Vertical angles= x+18= 48+18= 66 degrees
So, base angle= 48 degrees
Hope it helps!!
