perimeter of rectangle = 78

Let the breadth of the rectangle = X

length of the rectangle = 2x+3

Now

2(L + B ) = perimeter
2 ( 2x+3 + X) = 78
➡ 2(3x+3) = 78

➡ 6x +6 = 78

➡ 6x = 78 -6

➡ 6x = 72

➡ X = 72/6

➡ X = 12

so, breadth = 12 cm
length = 12×2 +3 = 24+3 = 27 cm

then his cousin age be (X+19)

after 5 years later age will be

X +5 = Amit
X +19+5 = cousin

the ratio will be 2:3 between Amit & cousin

then

➡ 3x +15 = 2x +48

➡ 3x -2x = 48 -15

∴ 5x + 10 (90 − x) = 500
