When a drip of food colouring is added to a glass of water then,the particles in the food colouring react with water(h2o)and gets mixed with it They both undergoes reaction with each other without anyone's help. So in this way the food colouring particles occupy the whole water present in the glass and get distributed.It is a slow process.In this way the food colouring in a glass of water slowly distributed without the need of stiring.
