Autotrophs : Organisms that make their own food with the process of photosynthesis and does not depend on anybody for their food are known as Autotrophs.

Example : Green Plants and Blue - Green Algae

Heterotrophs : Organisms which cannot make their own food and depend on other organisms for their food directly or indirectly are known as Heterotrophs.

Example : Carnivores and Omnivores.
