u should select A as (x1, y1) to apply midpoint formula.

A is the initial point and normally its coordinates should be taken as (x1, y1)
But if u take B as (x1, y1) also u will get the same answer

U can choose any point as the mid point as both the sides will be equal but choosing point A is better.
