Answer: Average is equal \frac{Sum of numbers}{Number of numbers}

LCM of the denominators

3= 1 x 3

4= 2 x 2 x 1

6= 1 x 3 x 2

2= 1 x 2

So the LCM = 2 x 3 x 2 = 12

As 3 x 4 = 12,

2 x 6 = 12,

4 x 3 = 12

and 6 x 2 = 12

So the numerators should also be multiplied by the same numbers.

1 x 4 = 4

1 x 6 = 6

1 x 3 = 3

1 x 2 = 2

So, \frac{4}{12} + \frac{6}{12} + \frac{3}{12} + \frac{2}{12} = \frac{4+ 6 + 3 + 2}{12}=\frac{15}{12}

Now, \frac{Sum of numbers}{Number of numbers} so

\frac{15}{12} ÷ 4 = \frac{15}{12} x \frac{1}{4} = \frac{15}{48}

Now you can also simplify it

\frac{15}{48} ÷ \frac{3}{3} = \frac{5}{16}

Step-by-step explanation:

((1/3 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/5)/4) = ((77/6)/4) = 77/24
