answer is 120° becoz putting the value of y as 2x we get 2x+x=3x and linear pair is equal to 180° so x=60° and y=120°

2x + x = 180° ( forms a straight angle)

3x = 180

x = 180/3

x = 60°

we know that, y= 2x

y = 2x 60

y= 120°
