The pope is in cylindrical shape.
Area of the cross section =
\pi  {r}^{2}
Water flowed in 60s=27000m/3600s ×60s
=450m
This is the length of the cylinder for which we are going to find the volume.
Volume243000 cmcylinder =
\pi {r}^{2} h
We already know area of cross section
So, Volume=5.4cm^2×45000cm
=243000 cubic cm or
=243 litres. (1 litre = 1000 cubic cm)
So, 243 litres of water is let through the pipe.

Wimpybrain: A note for the keen ones: We found the volume of the water which is let through the cylindrical pipe. So it is the volume of the cylinder itself. Even that doesn't help, just imagine time os stopped for a minute but the water is flowing through the pipe. So you can see a cylinder of water.
