To find:

His position after 2 min 20 secs (140 secs)

Concept:

As per the question , the man completes one trip around the field in 20 seconds . So the total number of trips that he can make in 140 seconds will be :

 \huge{ \red{n =  \dfrac{140}{20}  = 7}}

So he will make 7 trips around the field.

By trips , I mean complete revolution around the field. So he will return to the starting point after 140 seconds.

So he will be at point A.

Displacement refers to the shortest path between the starting and stopping point. Since the man has same starting and stopping point after 140 seconds , we can say that the displacement is zero.

Displacement = 0 m
