Given \: that \: 2x - 3y = 10 , xy = 16

 \therefore(2x - 3y) {}^{3}  = (10) {}^{3}

 \longrightarrow \: 8 {x}^{3}  - 27y {}^{3}  - 3(2x)(3y)

(2x - 3y) = 1000

 \longrightarrow8x {}^{3}  - 27y {}^{3}  - 18xy(2x  - 3y) = 1000

 \longrightarrow8x {}^{3}  - 27y {}^{3}  - 18(16)(10) = 1000

 \longrightarrow8x {}^{3}  - 27y {}^{3}  - 2880 = 1000

 \longrightarrow8x {}^{3}  - 27y {}^{3}  = 1000 + 2880

 \longrightarrow8x {}^{3}  - 27y {}^{3}  = 3880
