Sub: Inconvenience due to no street lights.

For the past two weeks Apollo Avenue is in total darkness. The entire street lighting system is dysfunctional.  In spite of repeated complaints to the electric office no action has been taken.

Due to lack of lighting it is quite risky to walk at nights. Incidents of snatching, molestation in the dark has alarming risen. Accidents have become too frequent as two wheelers cannot trace the pot holes in the rain.

If nothing is done by the concerned authorities there will be ‘dire consequences’ for the people. I would be ‘highly obliged’ if you would publish this letter in your esteemed daily so that the authorities concerned are aware about this matter.
