Given

  • \sf{\dfrac{x - 3}{5} - 2 = \dfrac{2x}{5}}

To find

  • Value of x.

Solution

  • Let us first solve the LHS.

\tt\longrightarrow{\dfrac{x - 3 - 10}{5} = \dfrac{2x}{5}}

\tt\longrightarrow{\dfrac{x - 13}{5} = \dfrac{2x}{5}}

  • Cancelling 5 both the side.

\tt\longrightarrow{x - 13 = 2x}

\tt\longrightarrow{2x - x = -13}

\bf\longrightarrow{x = -13}

Hence,

  • The value of x is -13.

 \huge \underline \bold \blue {here's\;your\;answer}

x - 3/5 - 2 = 2x/5

x = ?

\huge\green{\mathfrak{Solution}}

x-3/5 - 2 = 2x/5

= x-3-10/5 = 2x/5

= x-13/5 = 2x/5

( Cancelling 5 on both sides )

= x - 13 = 2x

= 2x - x = -13

=> x = -13
