Hello, my name is Rasheed. I am 15 years old and live in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is the month of November and since the Dal Lake is froze, we had to go to the fair to buy things for our house and for my father's business.

I had been to the fair with my grand parents on a Sunday morning. It was located exactly 10 kilometres from my house, on a empty field next to the railway station. We left early by 7 A.M. as we had to catch the only bus in the morning to reach the fair.

I must admit I have never been to a fair. I was surprised to see such a big fair for the first time in my life. It was a mixed fair. They were selling everything from eateries to heavy machinery. The stalls were divided categorically and were placed alphabetically. One had to just go their required category and find the stall they are looking for. Between every five stalls, there was a rest area with benches for old people to rest, tables and chairs for people to eat, small fountains to keep the fair cool and lots of swings and slides for children to play. I liked a swing and slide in particular. It was in the shape of a dinosaur. I had to swing to reach the mouth of dinosaur and slide inside the body and slide out of it's tail.

I was so happy to see so many of school friends in the fair. They were accompanied by their parents. People from all levels (Working class, Agriculturists, Government employees, Unemployed, Children, Families) of society were seen at the fair.

To conclude, I had the most fun filled Sunday in my life, thanks to the village fair. I wish they have more fairs at regular intervals. It will help us to unwind, relax, learn about new things, meet new people, have a good time with our families and make new friendships.

Answer:

The French Revolution was a period of fundamental political and societal change in France that began with the Estates General of 1789 and ended in November 1799 with the formation of the French Consulate. Many of its ideas are considered fundamental principles of Western liberal democracy
