Let’s take an example:

1+2+3=6

Here there are 3 numbers getting added and three is an odd number. Here n is the no. Of numbers getting added. Therefore over here n=3. Sum of the 3 numbers = 6

Six is divisible by 3.

Another example:

5+6+7+8+9=35

Here, n=5

Sum of n =35

35 is divisible by 5.

This property can only be proven when n is an odd number.
