electronic configuration of Zn is [Ar] 3d10 4s2

=unpaired electrons is 0

electronic configuration of Fe2+ is [Ar]3d6 4s2

as removing of electrons and adding of electrons takes place in the 4s shell so therefore electronic configuration of fe2+ is [Ar]3d6, unpaired electrons =4

electronic configuration of Ni3+is [Ar] 3d7, unpaired elctrons =3

electronic configuration of Cu+ is [Ar] 4s1 3d9 unpaired elctrons =1

therefore maximum number of unpaired d electrons is in Fe2+ as it is having 4 un'aired electrons....

Hope it helped
