to find :- X + y = ?


using this identify we can get answer


( x-y ) ² = ( x + y ) ² - 4 xy


now. putting the Value we get ,

( 12 )². = (x + y )² -4 * 25/4


144 + 25 = ( x + y )²


√ 169 = x +y


hence , X + y = 13
