ΔABC circumscribes the circle.

AC = 8cm

AB = 12 cm

BC = 10 cm

To find:-

AD, BE, CF

Solution:-

External point- A => AF = AD-----------------------------------------------------1

External point- C => CF = CE-----------------------------------------------------2

External point- B => BD = BE-----------------------------------------------------3

ADD 1, 2 and 3

CF + AF + BD = CE + BE + AD

8 + BD = 10 + AD

10 - 8 = BD - AD

2 = BD - AD----------------------------------------------------4

W.K.T,

BD+AD = 12 cm.-----------------------------------------------5

ELIMINATE 4 from 5 [SEE IT IN THE PICTURE]

14 = 2BD

BD = 7 cm.

∴ AD = 12 - 7

∴AD = 5 cm

BD = BE

∴BE = 7 cm.

CE = 10 - 7

∴CE = 3 cm.
