•Speed of moving object can never be negative.
•velocity of moving object can be positive, negative or zero.

•speed is the rate of change of distance.
•velocity is the rate of change of displacement.

•speed determines how fast something is moving?
•velocity determines in which direction something is moving?

•speed:- When the body returns to its initial position will not be zero.
•velocity:- When the body returns to its initial position will be zero.
