Q.) A sum of money invested at 5% p.a. amounts to ₹900 in 4 years . How much would it amount to in 8 years at 6+1/4 % p.a. ?

900 = p ( 1+ 4/20)

900= p( 1+ 1/5)

900=p(6/5)

p=900×5/6

p=300×5/2 =150=750

new si =750 × 8 ×25/400

=750 × 8 × 1/16

=750 ×1/2

=375

new amount = 750 + 375

= 1225
