I)

  • Given mass of helium, m = 52 g

  • Atomic mass of helium, M = 4 g

  • Let the number of moles be n

Number \: of \: moles \: = \dfrac{Given \: mass}{Atomic \: mass} \\ \\ n = \frac{m}{M} \\ \\ = \frac{52}{4} \\ \\ n = 13 \: moles

Number of moles of helium is 13.

ii)

  • Given number of atoms = 12.044 × 10²³ atoms

  • Avogadro number = 6.022 × 10²³ amu

  • Let the number of moles be n.

Number \: of \: moles \: = \dfrac{Given \: number \: of \: atoms}{Avogadro \: number} \\ \\ n = \dfrac{12.044 \times {10}^{23} }{6.022 \times {10}^{23} } \\ \\ n = \dfrac{12.044}{6.022} \\ \\ n = 2

The number of moles of Helium is 2.
