Speed of flowing water = 25 km/h
=25 ×5/18
=125/18.
Water flowing in the canal for 1 second
= 125/18 ×5.4 ×1.8
=135 metre cube.
Water flowing in a canal in 40 min
=135/2 ×40×60
=16200 metre cube.

Area required to irrigate =162000×10
=1620000 metre cube
=162 hectare.
