Answer:

y=(x-1)(x-2)/√x. [Assuming function which is logarithmic differentiation to compute this derivative]

ln y=ln[(x-1)(x-2)/√x]

ln y=ln(x-1)+ln(x-2) -ln√x

ln y=ln(x-1)+ln(x-2)-ln(x)^1/2

ln y=ln(x-1)+ln(x-2)-1/2ln(x)

1/y(dy/dx)= 1/x-1 +1/(x-2) -1/2x

dy/dx=y(1/x-1+1/x-2-1/2x)

dy/dx[(x-1)(x-2)/x](1/x-1+1/x-2-1/2x)

Hope this helps..

shrutigupta333: It helped alot!!;-)
Lazarus: but ....I guess the answer didn't match!!!
shrutigupta333: it's okay
shrutigupta333: atleast you gave the answer
Lazarus: did u complete calculus or limitation and integration?
