  • Give the name of resistor such as R1 , R2 so it's easy to calculate the equivalent resistance.

  • For long and tedious arrangements make each steps figure of arrangements again .

  • Now , use the following formula for calculating equivalent resistance in series and parallel.

 R_s = R_1 + R_2 + R_n

 \dfrac{1}{R_p}=\dfrac{1}{R_1}+\dfrac{1}{R_2}+\dfrac{1}{R_n}

  • Now calculate the equivalent resistance of arrangements.
