Gram Molecular Weight of CaCO₃ = 40 + 12 + 48

                                                         = 100 g

Gram Molecular Weight of CO₂ = 12 + 32

                                                    = 44 g

Equation,

              CaCO₃ + 2HCl -------------> CaCl₂ + CO₂ + H₂O

According to the equation,

  • 44 g of CO₂ is produced from 100 g of CaCO₃.
  • 66 g of CO₂ will be produced from [66 × 100]÷44

                                                          = 150 g of CaCO₃       ←ANSWER
