Hey there!
The brain is responsible for controlling and regulating the functions of the body. This organ is formed by thousands of nerve cells that respond to different stimuli that are sent from the organism and its exterior.
Each hemisphere of the brain is responsible for controlling the opposite part of the body, so in case of stroke, depending on the magnitude, one or other areas may be affected.
This organ is protected by the skull, since it is very susceptible to injuries. It constitutes only 2% of body weight and uses 20% of the energy we produce. Its weight is around 1.36 kilograms.
The brain is divided into three parts: Cerebrum, cerebellum and Brain stem.
♣ Cerebrum:
The brain is related to the senses, emotions, memories, reactions. In short,It is the head of our body, It is in charge of receiving signals and returning them in the form of a response.
♣ Cerebellum
It is responsible for maintaining balance, posture and is involved in the movement of the entire body. It ensures that the movements are carried out in a coordinated and precise manner.
♣ Brain Stem:
It is located at the base of the brain. It controls vital functions such as heart rate, digestion, respiration, blood pressure. In addition, it communicates or connects the brain with the rest of the body through the spinal cord. The brainstem is divided into medulla oblongata, bulge and mesencephalon.

hey
brain:-
the three types of brain are
=>(1)forebrain:-
(a) cerebrum
(b) olfactory lobe
(c) Diencephalon
(i) thalamus
(ii) hypothalamus
=>(2) midbrain:-
(a) mesencephalon
=>(3) hindbrain:-
(a) cerebellum
(b) pons varolii
(c) medulla oblongata
...............
explaination
...............
the brain is protected in a Bony case called cranium between cranium and the brain there are three layers of connective tissues present called meninges. they are an outer durammatter, middle Arachnoid matter, and innerpiamater. between arachnoid mater and Piamatter is fillet with a kind of fluid called cerebrospinal fluid(csf). it acts as shock absorber supply nitrogen to brain tissue and remove waste material from the brain.
if u want description about (1),(2),(3)
check the image which I had sent u
