Answer:

Dalton's atomic theory :--- 1. matter is made up of very small. indivisible particles called atoms. 2. atoms of the the same element are identical in all respects.3. atoms combine in a simple water fixed ratio to form compound atoms.4. atoms of different elements differ in properties and weight.5.atom is the smallest particle which can take part in a chemical reaction. 6. atoms can neither be created nor be destroyed hands chemical reaction is nothing but rearrangement of atoms and same number of atoms must be present before and after the reaction . limitations of Dalton's atomic theory:- 1. it does not explain the cause of chemical combination.2. its feels to explain the law of gaseous volumes. 3.it does not distinguish between the ultimate particle of an element and a compound. 4. it does not give the idea of isotopes and it does not give any idea about the structure of atom .
