the difference between kinetic energy and potencial energy is that kinetic energy is energy that a body possesses by virtue of being in motion.and potencial energy is the energy possessed by a body by virtue of its position relative to others, stresses within itself, electric charge, and other factors.

Kinetic Energy of a Body with Mass 'm' & moving with Velocity 'v' is :

❤  \bf{Kinetic\;Energy = \frac{1}{2}(m)(v)^2}

Given : The Horse and Dog move with Same Speed.

Let the Speed of Horse and Dog be : 'S' meter per second

Let the Mass of Dog be : D

Given : The Mass of Horse is 10 times the Mass of Dog

⇒ Mass of the Horse = 10D

\mathsf{\implies Ratio\;of\;Kinetic\;Energies\;of\;Horse\;and\;Dog = \frac{\frac{1}{2}(10D)(S)^2}{\frac{1}{2}(D)(S)^2}}

⇒ Ratio of Kinetic Energies of Horse and Dog is 10 : 1
