  1. The polymer cellulose is made up of a large number of the monomer units.
  2. The silk fiber is obtained from the silkworm whereas artificial silk is obtained treatment of wood pulp.
  3. Polythene which is used to make polythene bags is an example of thermoplastics.
  4. Plastics do not react with air and water.
  5. Plastics are generally cheaper/lighter (lightweight) than metals.
