Find the cost of 6 pair of trousers:

1 pair of trousers = Rs 500 1/8

6 pairs of trousers = 500 1/8 x 6 = 3000 3/4

Who is supposed to pay who?

Since Rs 4800 2/5 > Rs 3000 3/4

Find the amount to pay:

Amount to pay = 4800 2/5 - 3000 3/4 = Rs 1799 13/20
