Step-by-step explanation:

x = 1 , y = -1 , z = 2

a)

x {}^{2}  - 5xy + 3x {}^{2}  - xy + 2

putting the values there ,

1 {}^{2}  - 5.1. - 1 + 3 \times 1 - 1 \times  - 1 + 2

= 1 + 5 + 3 - 1 + 2

= 10

b) putting values in the second equation we get ,

= -1 + 14 + 3 - 6

= 17 - 7

= 10

As Given question 3x²+5xy−4y² +x²−8xy−5y ²

Simply adding the like terms

We get (3x ² +x ² )+(5xy−8xy)−(4y ² +5y )

Hence the solution is 4x ² −3xy−9y ²
