1. ∠a = 120°

[Both are corresponding angles.]

2. 100° + a° = 180°

[Angles on the same side of the transversal].

Therefore, a° = 180° - 100°

a° = 80°

3. 2a + 3a = 180°

[Angles on the same side of the transversal].

Therefore, 5a = 180°

a =  \frac{180°}{5}

a = 36

Therefore, ∠1 = 2a = 2(36) = 72°

∠2 = 3a = 3(36) = 108°

4. ∠a + 60° = 180°

[Angles on the same side of the transversal].

∠a = 180° - 60°

∠a = 120°

∠c = 180° - 110°

∠c = 70°

∠b = 180° - 120°

∠b = 60°
