Given:-

  • Distance ,d = 800 m

  • Time taken ,t = 160 s

To Find:-

  • Speed ,s

Solution:-

  • As we know that Speed is defined as the distance per unit time.

• S = d/t

Where,

  • S denote speed
  • d denote distance
  • t denote time
  • Substitute the value we get

  • → s = 800/160

  • → s = 80/16

  • → s = 5 m/s

Hence, the speed is 5m/s.

☢ Additional Information ☢

Some equation of motion are

• v = u +at

• s = ut +1/2at².

• v² = u² + 2as

Here,

  • v is the final velocity
  • u is the initial velocity
  • a is the acceleration
  • s is the displacement or Distance
  • t is the time taken

Answer:

Distance= 800m

Seconds= 160s

Therefore,

Speed= 800/160 m/s

          = 5 m/s

Therefore my speed is 5 m/s.

Hope it helps you!
