❃ Hiii Monali....❃
===============

⚫Dear, your option 3rd is the correct answer out of all the above options.

◼️Phloem Parenchyma are absent in monocot stems because:----

☛In monocot stems vascular bundles are open that is why they do not have Phloem Parenchyma and that's why secondary growth does not occur in them.

◼️Now, let's know what the secondary growth is?

☑️ Secondary growth:--
====================
It is the increase in thickness or girth of the part, which is carried out by the cell division in the Lateral Meristems.

⚫what is the functions of the Phloem Parenchyma?

It is also called as Transfer cells.
1.) Since it is a vascular tissue, so perform the function of translocation of food.
2.) It stores the food and water.

☑️If Phloem Parenchyma is absent in monocot stems then who perform their functions?
Let's know....

It's function is perform by the "water \: cavities"
☛Now,
what are the water cavities?

◼️Water Cavities :----
=================
These are the large water cavities which are formed from the disintegration of many Proto-xylems.
These are present in the inner side of the Proto-xylems. These store the food and water for the monocot stems.

Hope it will clear your all doubts.
Thanks!☺️
