Explanation:

Formula for torque is τ = r × F

where r is perpendicular distance between center and point of application of Force.

As shown in figure, the perpendicular distance between Force and center is 3·cos20° = 3 × 0.9 = 2.7 m

∴ τ = 2.7 × 50 Nm = 135 Nm
