What was the condition of Indian Industries during the British Rule..​

That time india was called bird of gold . When British came in India . But not in industrial area . British were start many new Industries such jute mill, e.t.c . After British leave india here was nothing good. Because take all material .

Conditions of Indian Industries during the British Rule :

⏭️ During the British rule there were very few Industries in India, that means the pace of Industrial development was very slow at that time.

⏭️ The modern Industries were set up only in the big towns like Bombay, Madras, Calcutta.

⏭️ The small scaled Industries dominated the Indian markets.

⏭️ By the 1900, because of movement like Swadeshi movement the Indian weavers were restored to their work.

⏭️ The Indian weavers also adopted new technologies in their field like they used flying shuttle.

⏭️ Because of the national support Indian weavers gave competition to mill Industries as many people now prefer the hand made products.
