➡️ A reaction in which a more reactive element displaces the less reactive element from its salt compound is a displacement reaction.

➡️ The reaction is not possible because Copper(Cu) is less reactive than Iron(Fe) so, Copper cannot displace Iron from its salt compound.

➡️ This is because, iron nail is made up of iron(Fe). So, when it reacts with CuSO4, it forms -

Fe + CuSO4 - FeSO4 + Cu

This is so since Fe is more reactive than Cu. So, Cu gets displaced. And, the green colour is because colour of FeSO4 is green.

➡️ The main precaution is that, the salt compound of a less reactive element must be taken and should be reacted with a more reactive element. If it is the opposite, then no reaction will take place.

➡️ Displacement reaction is a chemical change.
