Thus, ∠PRQ and ∠PRT form a linear pair.

⇒ ∠PRQ + ∠PRT = 180°

⇒ ∠PRQ = 180° - ∠PRT

From (i) & (ii), we get

⇒ ∠PQR = ∠PRQ {Given}

⇒ 180° - ∠PQS = 180° - ∠PRT

⇒ ∠PQS = ∠PRT
