Given:-A perimeter of a triangle =300cm and ratio of the sides 5:12:13

Let the sides of triangle are x cm.
therefore,5x+12x+13x=300
=>30x=300
=>x=300/30
=>x=10 cm

therefore,sides of triangle are 50cm,120cm, and 130cm

so,semi-perimeter,s=> 50+120+130/2
s=> 300/2
s=> 150cm

Now,
Area of triangle=underroot s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
=underroot 150(150-50)(150-120)(150-130)
=underroot 150*100*30*20
=3000cm²
Also,
Area of triangle=1/2*base*height
3000=1/2*130*h [given,base=130cm]
h=3000*2/130
h=600/13cm

Hence,the length of the perpendicular from the opposite vertex to the side whose length is 130 is 600/13cm.....
