Money paid by the children = 5×1 = ₹5
Money paid by the adults = x × 2.50 = ₹2.5×

But the total money is ₹50
So it must be
₹5 + ₹2.5x = ₹50
₹2.5x = ₹(50–5)
₹2.5x = ₹45
x = (45/2.5)
x = 18

So there are 18 adults in the bus.

ttotal money for adultsc= 50-5=45
per adult = 2.50=2.5/-
total no. of adults =total money/per adult money
