Answer:

we have to find how many rectangles can be made by perimeter 32 cm

To get the all the rectangles in the same perimeter,that is 32 cm, we have to reduce the perimeter

So we can reduce 32cm into its hal

half of 32 is 16[16+16=36]

rectangles have different types of length and breadth

for example the first one [15,1]

technically it means that length is 15 and breadth is 1

so perimeter of a rectangle with length and breadth , ⇒15 and 1 is

P=2 x [l+b]

P =2x [15+1]

=2 x [16]

=32

same step with the other also

⇒14 [l]

2[b]

perimeter = 32

⇒13[l]

3[b]

P =32

⇒ 12[l]

4 [b]

p=32

⇒ 11[l]

5[b]

p=32

⇒10[l]

6[b]

p=32

⇒9[l]

7[b]

p=32

⇒8 [l]

8[b]

p=32

So 8 rectangles can be made that can be with 32 cm
