Given Equation is 2y^2 = 17y - 8
2y^2 + 8 = 17y
2y^2 - 17y + 8 = 0
2y^2 - 16y - y + 8 = 0
2y(y - 8) - 1(y - 8) = 0
(2y - 1)(y - 8) = 0
y = 1/2,8.
Hope this helps!
2y^2 + 8 = 17y
2y^2 - 17y + 8 = 0
2y^2 - 16y - y + 8 = 0
2y(y - 8) - 1(y - 8) = 0
(2y - 1)(y - 8) = 0
y = 1/2,8.
Hope this helps!
