(c) since r2 and r3 are connected in parallel
therefore,
1/r` = 1/r3 + 1/r2 = 1/10 + 1/15 = 3 +2/30 = 1/6
R` = 6ohm
again,
r1 and r` are connected in series
therefore,
R equivalent = 6 + 5 = 11 ohm
(a) p.d across AB = 1*5 = 5volt
(b) current through other resistor (I2) = 5/10 = 1/2 amphere
(I3) = 5/15 = 1/3 amphere
(c) since r2 and r3 are connected in parallel
therefore,
1/r` = 1/r3 + 1/r2 = 1/10 + 1/15 = 3 +2/30 = 1/6
