let the present age of rinu be x
8 yrs ago age of rinu = x-8
8yrs ago age of sharmila = 5*(x-8)
=5x-40
after 8 yrs age of rini =x+8
age of her mother =4+ 3*(x+8)
=4+3x+24
=28+3x
therefore according to question ,
5x-40=28+3x
5x-3x= 28+ 40
2x = 68
x=68/2=34
so present age of rinu is 34 yrs
