Answer:

1. Northern Frigid zone extends from artcic circle 66 and half degree north to north pole 90 degree north.

Southern frigid zone is from Antarctic 66 and half degree south to south pole 90 degree south.

2. The frigid zones are the coldest regions of Earth and are generally covered in ice and snow. It receives slanting rays of the sun as this region lies farthest from the equator. Summer season in this region lasts for about 2 to 3 months and there is almost 24 hour sunlight during summer. The climate of the frigid zone is: The frigid is cold throughout the year. In winters the temperature may drop down to – 40°C. There is continuous darkness for 6 months in winters.

3. Arctic and Antarctic birds and mammals such as penguins, whales, bears, foxes  and seals - are warm blooded animals and they maintain similar internal body temperatures to warm blooded animals in any other climate zone - that is 35-42°C (95-107°F) depending on the species. They have to keep high body temperatures to remain active. These animals are known as endotherms (endo-inside + therm-heat) as they generate their heat internally. The polar regions' cold and wind mean that this heat can very quickly be lost leading to hypothermia (hypo-under).

4.  The Inuit have traditionally been fishers and hunters. They still hunt whales (esp. bowhead whale), seal, polar bears, muskoxen, birds, and fish and at times other less commonly eaten animals such as the Arctic fox.
